Lakeland Gator Country
For over 55 years the Lakeland Gators have been a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the youth of Lakeland a place to enjoy the sport of football and cheerleading.
The goal and focus of the Lakeland Gators is to promote a safe and enjoyable environment for youth athletes to learn, have fun, build character and compete at a prominent level in the sports of football and cheer.
2024 registration is open!
In order to make registration fast and easy for you we have provided two options. You can either complete our online registration or print and complete a physical registration form.
*Note- Our Midget(10U), JV(12U), & Varsity(14U) football teams are all full and we are no longer accepting any more players at this time. There are still some spots left on our Mighty Mights(6U) and Pee Wee(8U) teams.
Additional information needed to register:
- Birth Certificate: A COPY of each Player’s birth certificate is required. (We are unable to make a copy onsite)
- Picture: We need a copy of the most current headshot picture of your child for registration (NO black and white photos, no hats, no sunglasses).
- Health Insurance Information: Doctors phone # etc.
BEFORE any Player can practice all outstanding registration fees must be paid and ALL Forms turned in.
Registration Balance MUST be paid in full by the Equipment Fitting date.
Cheer
Cheer is available for children between 4 – 14. Our divisions are determined by age for maximum safety and competition.
Football
Football is available for children between 4 – 14. 4 year olds on a case by case basis. Our divisions are determined by age for maximum safety and competition.
coaching
Head coaches are elected positions and all coaches must complete a background check prior to being on a team.
Set your goals high, and don’t stop till you get there.

As much as we try to make sure that all families are made aware of any events or changes to schedules, please keep in mind that all members of the Lakeland Gators are strictly VOLUNTEERS and last minute changes do happen! Families can stay informed thru this website, Facebook, Instagram, or the team’s GroupMe.
